California Lesson Study Conference at Monterey Bay

The goal of the California Lesson Study Conference is to provide an engaging forum for lesson study teams and researchers to share their work, for administrators and teachers to learn about the process of lesson study, and for policy-makers to think about the possibilities of lesson study as a tool for building collaborative professional communities, improving instruction, and increasing student achievement. Conference strands include: elementary mathematics, elementary science, secondary mathematics, secondary science, other academic subjects, introduction to lesson study, research on lesson study, managing lesson study programs, as well as administrators and lesson study.
Presentation proposals may be submitted either by individuals or groups. Program organizers may request permission to link your proposal with another to comprise a common theme for a single session. The registration fee will be waived for one presenter per session and presenters are encouraged to stay for the duration of the conference to share their expertise.
