On October 8, 2008 the Multi-Cultural Center received a donated piece of artwork from Lisa Franklin (Sac State Art student). Lisa created the mixed media collage, Evolutionary Transition, specifically for the Multi-Cultural Center —

This photographic exhibit explores notions of home.
Home usually makes us think of the place(s) where we grew up, the homes where we have lived. Home is undoubtedly connected to family. These notions of home are important to us all, yet they do not contain everything that we might experience or mean by “home.” Home is not always a place. Home is not just our families.
