Selection Criteria

  1. Low income and first generation and/or under-representation in academic area
  2. Completion of at least 45 units upon entrance into the program
  3. Enrollment at CSUS on a full-time basis
  4. 2.8 GPA or above
  5. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
  6. Willingness to commit to the program requirements
  7. Desire and motivation to earn a doctoral degree
