DIRECTOR'S
CORNER
Spring Break is just around the corner!
Congratulations, you've made it over the hump for the
Spring semester - even if you have a lot of hard work on
term papers and projects waiting for you as the semester
grinds to a halt.
To distract you while you are off on
Spring Break - or working on your term projects, you
might want to begin thinking about our incredible lineup
of Fall '99 and Spring 2000 electives. In the Fall, our
planned electives include:
- PPA 296F Health Policy &
Administration taught by a top Wilson
Administration former Health Department official;
- Environmental Policy &
Administration, taught by a leading member of the
CSUS Environmental Studies Department faculty;
- Rob Wassmer's PPA 251 Urban
Problems, Economics & Public Policy; and
- Peter Detwiler's PPA 250, Land Use
and Planning.
In the Spring, we are planning to offer
- PPA 296E Intergovernmental Policy
Management with Cristy Jensen,
- IA 296 International Environmental
Policy taught by Professor Angus Wright of the
CSUS Environmental Studies Department;
- PPA 284 Urban Politics and Policy
by yours truly; and
- PPA 260 Working with Legislatures
with Professor Ted Lascher.
Lots of electives, lots of choices.
Think over your own favorites and register early to make
sure that you get the class of your choice.
Happy Spring Break!!!
