If this sounds familiar to you, then you probably have been a part of the PPA Bulletin (same concept, different name). The alumni listproc, however, won't necessarily have messages meant for students, such as internship announcements, registration deadlines, class announcements, etc... In a sense it is listproc-lite.

What exactly is the PPA Alumni ListProc?
The PPA Alumni ListProc is an informational service for the Alumni of the graduate program in Public Policy and Administration. It is intended to help maintain communication between our graduate program, members of the PPA Chapter of the Alumni Association, and other PPA Alumni (though anyone can join). This system also allows members to access old messages that have been archived. Additional information is provided upon subscription.

How to post to the PPA Alumni ListProc
Anyone may post an announcement, subject to department approval. Just send your announcement directly to
PPA-IA-Bulletin-L@csus.edu for department approval.

How to subscribe to the PPA Alumni ListProc
To subscribe, send the following message from your desired email account to listproc@csus.edu.

subscribe PPA-Alumni-L <your first and last name>
end

For example, if Steven Spielberg wanted to participate (like I said, anyone can), he would send the following message to listproc@csus.edu:
subscribe PPA-Alumni-L Steven Spielberg
end
