MPPA Curriculum

The graduate program in Public Policy and Administration curriculum consists of four components; academic core, electives, internship, and culminating experience. The department of Public Policy and Administration requires students to use APA style when writing papers.

Internship (3 units)

NOTE: An internship proposal and paper is required of each student taking this course.

Electives (6 units) Students choose from electives that fulfill their particular needs and goals. Electives may be chosen from among PPA courses and classes in other departments. Currently the Department offers specializations in urban policy, higher education, and collaborative decision making.
