ARTP Procedures (in pdf)

The Department’s guidelines for appointing and evaluating faculty members are set forth in its ARTP processes and procedures document, which has been approved by the University administration. This document applies to both full-time and part-time faculty.

The Department uses a set of standing committees for making various decisions. For the 2007-08 academic year the committees and their memberships are as follows.

• RTP Committee: Rob Wassmer (chair), Mary Kirlin, Ted Lascher, Bob Waste
• Post-Tenure Review Committee: Cristy Jensen (chair), Betty Moulds
• Part-Time Faculty Appointments Committee: Rob Wassmer (chair), Bob Waste, Ted Lascher
• Part-Time Faculty Evaluation Committee: Ted Lascher (chair), Bob Waste
• Human Subjects Committee: Miguel Ceja (chair), Don Gerth, Mary Kirlin

The Department’s representative to the Faculty Senate is Mary Kirlin: Ted Lascher is the Department’s alternate representative.

Two PPA faculty members serve on the College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies’ Secondary Committee for Review, Tenure, and Promotion: Bob Waste and Ted Lascher.
