Rob Wassmer, public policy and administration, provided seminars on "Retail Urban Sprawl in the Western United States: An Empirical Test of the Fiscalization of Land Use," to the Lusk Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Southern California on December 8 and to the economics department at Oakland University (his undergraduate institution) in Rochester, Michigan on December 14. On January 6, he will also present this paper at a session on Urban Sprawl and Land Policy to be held at the national meetings of American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association in New Orleans.
