FACULTY

Bob Waste will be given the 2000-2001 Distinguished Faculty Award by the University and the Alumni Association at a banquet in mid March. Distinguished Service Awards (which includes the Distinguished Faculty Award) are the highest awards given jointly by the University and the Alumni Association. They provide an opportunity for the University and the Association to recognize prominent CSUS alumni and faculty alumni.

Bob majored in Government and graduated from CSUS with a bachelor's degree in 1970 and a Master's degree in 1971. He returned to CSUS in 1997 to teach in the PPA program. He has taught at such institutions as CSU Chico, San Diego State University, and Brown University. This award is a great honor and the PPA department is very proud of Bob.

We welcome your contributions to the Communicator! Contact the Director, Bob Waste, or the Department Secretary, Suzi Byrd, (916) 278-6557, in the PPA Department Office.
