Public Employees Roundtable Public Service Scholarship
The Public Employees Roundtable Public Service Scholarship is now accepting
applications. This is a merit based scholarship is for college students
who plan to pursue careers (or continue careers) in government. The scholarships
are for $1,000 ($500 for part-time graduate students). The application
deadline is May 18, 2001.

The Women's Research and Educational Institute is taking applications
for their 2002 Congressional Fellowship on Women and Public Policy. You

The Greenlining Institute, a Multi-Ethnic Public Policy Institute located
in San Francisco, is seeking candidates for its Multiethnic Academy Fellowships
and Internships in Public Policy and Economic Development. The Academy
is a public policy and leadership training program for recent college
graduates and graduate students who are pursuing careers in the field
of public policy, urban planning, minority advocacy, and economic development.
Summer Internship applications must be received by April 1, 2001.
Fellowship applicants must be received by June 15, 2001.

The California State University
Social Sciences Research and Instructional Council
25th Annual Student Research Conference
at California State University, Sacramento
Friday, May 4, 2001
The Research Conference has been held since 1976. At the conference,
students from all areas of the social sciences present the results of
their research to groups and peers. Paper presentation time is from 15-20
minutes; poster sessions are also permitted. Co-authored work is fine.
There will be cash awards for the best papers presented.

Anne Rudin Scholarship
The League of Women Voters sponsors the Anne
Rudin Scholarship.* Deadline is March 23, 2001. Last year one
of our PPA students won this.

The CSUS Financial Aid Office has recently opened a Scholarship Office.
