Sustainable Communities Leadership Program
(SCLP)
Paid Summer Fellowships for Graduate Students in Environmental Studies,
Public Policy, Planning, Business, Engineering and Law.
The Sustainable Communities Leadership Program provides 12- to 24-week
paid summer/fall Fellowships for distinguished graduate students who have
demonstrated an commitment and capacity to become leaders in the sustainable
communities field. The heart of the SCLP experience is a full-time, paid
assignment where Fellows apply their skills and talents to high-profile
sustainable development projects at sponsoring organizations throughout
the state. SCLP Fellows participate in an orientation and leadership development
workshops where leadership and sustainability issues are explored in depth.

or related fields are afforded the opportunity to gain hands-on managerial
