ANNOUNCEMENTS

PPA 500 Group Project Fall 2002
The group PPA 500 class originally scheduled for this Fall has been postponed until Spring 2003 due to insufficient enrollment. The topic will be the same graduate level education in California public higher education and how the state can best determine how and whether its investment in graduate education meets the needs of the state.

Center for California Studies
The Center for California Studies is hosting the 14th Annual Envisioning
California Conference
. The focus is on higher education, specifically: "Moving California's Master Plan for Higher Education into the 21st Century."

The date of the conference is:
September 26-27, 2002
Sacramento Convention Center

Registration forms are available outside the PPA office or on-line.

Note especially that the REGISTRATION FEE IS WAIVED FOR STUDENTS, so that the panels are free for all of you currently in our programs.

Closed November 28 - December 1 for Thanksgiving Recess.
