Cristy Jensen has been very busy this summer. She was elected to serve on the Executive Committee of the statewide Academic Senate for 2002-03 and will continue to serve as a member of several intersegmental committees including the UC/CSU Joint Graduate Board.
Dr. Jensen was appointed chair of Statewide Senate Committee on Graduate and Post Baccalaureate Education in the CSU; will issue a major report on status of grad education in May 2003.
She also attended a meeting in Washington DC in early June sponsored by the US Department of State which included 15 US universities and their partner institutions in Russia and Ukraine. Dr. Peter Unru from Far Eastern State Technical University in Vladivostok attended with Dr. Jensen.
