ANNOUNCEMENTS

Fall Commencement
Information about Fall Commencement is available at on-line. You can sign up to participate at the SSIS Dean's office (AMD 255, 916/278-6504).

Our ceremony will take place at 3:30 pm on Friday, December 19th at ARCO Arena. All graduates should arrive no later than 3:00 p.m.

PPA 296K, "Higher Ed. Leadership"
We're canceling PPA 296K, "Higher Ed. Leadership" (Ceja) for spring '04. Unfortunately the current enrollment wasn't high enough to maintain the course in the present fiscal climate. We're tentatively planning to try again in the fall when we expect that there may be more students from other departments on campus who might be interested; we'll update you on that in the spring. We apologize to the folks who were planning to take PPA 296K, but this is one of the unfortunate by-products of a tough fiscal climate.

Internships
This is a reminder that any student currently taking the internship course (PPA 295) for credit this semester needs to turn in an internship report by the end of finals period. For examples of good past internship papers go to http://www.csus.edu/mppa/ppacurrc.htm, and scroll down to the section on PPA 295.
