FACULTY

Rob Wassmer, Public Policy and Administration, in the morning of November 5, participated as an invited panelist at the Greater Sacramento Diversity Summit sponsored by KVIE Channel 6, Allstate Insurance, and the College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies. He spoke on racial/ethnic/age/economic diversity in the context of the entire Sacramento Region. In the afternoon of November 5, he testified at a California Assembly hearing as an expert on the role that tax expenditure program evaluations should play in the State’s budget process.

Rob Wassmer has also published a chapter on “The Influence of Local Fiscal Choices and Growth Control Choices on Bog-Box Sprawl in the American West” in the Edward Elger book THE PROPERTY TAX, LAND USE, AND LAND USE REGULATION.
