The Communicator is the official department newsletter
serving the students of the Graduate Programs in
Public Policy and Administration at California State University,
Sacramento. FACULTY Cristy
Jensen has been named Chair of the Fiscal and Governmental Affairs Committee
of the Academic Senate of the CSU for the 2003-04 Academic Year. In that role,
she is convening a faculty workgroup to work with student and Chancellor's Office
representatives in developing a CSU fee policy; also assisting in the development
of CSU accountability indicators for graduate education. This work is essentially
the CSU implementation of the the recent work on accountability completed by Dr.
Shulock and the Institute for Higher Education Leadership. Dr. Jensen also chairs
the Graduate and Post Baccalaureate Task Force which expects to complete its review
