Government Finance
Officers Association Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship of $5,000 is awarded to an upper-divsion undergraduate or graduate student of public administration, (government) accounting, finance, political science, economics, or business administration (with specific focus on government or nonprofit management). The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize outstanding performance by minority students preparing for careers in state and local government finance. Retirement Research and Administration Scholarship of $4,000 is
available for award to a graduate student in public administration,
finance, business administration, or social sciences. The purpose of
this scholarship is to support the studies of a full- or part-time graduate
student preparing for a career in the field of public-sector retirement
