Registration Announcements
There are a few changes to the schedule affecting our graduate students.

  1. PPA 240A, Public Management I. Due to some realignment of responsibilities for the fall, we've been able to open up a second section of PPA 240A. The second section will meet on Wednesday nights and, like Section 1, be taught by Bob Waste.

  2. PPA 270, Collaborative Policy. This is the same course that we've offered the prior two years over the summer with a different number. The new number reflects the fact that the course has now become a permanent part of our course curriculum, and is no longer in the "experimental course" category. As in the past, the course will be taught by David Booher.

  3. PPA 500, Culminating Experience. We've moved to implement a new culminating experience requirement. The new approach is summarized in the on-line student handbook. For the fall you'll note that Rob Wassmer will lead the Thursday evening weekly PPA 500 seminar incorporating our new approach. He will also lead the independent study oriented seminar designed for returning students who've already made progress on a thesis prior to our implementing the new approach. For either section of PPA 500 one must be advanced to candidacy, and enrollment requires contacting Suzi Byrd (i.e., you cannot simply sign up on your own).
