NPELRA
Foundation Opens Sixth Round of Scholarships
The NPELRA Foundation, an affiliate of the National Public Employer
Labor
Relations Association, has announced that it will award its sixth round
of
Anthony C. Russo Scholarships by October 31, 2004. The winners of Round
Five were announced in the March 2004 issue of the NPELRA Newsletter.
Human resource, labor and industrial relations, public administration
or
political science graduate students with an interest in labor and employee
relations are encouraged to apply. According to Foundation President
Jim
Pendergast, "two to four scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each
will be
awarded." The deadline for Round Six applications is September
30, 2004.

Robert
Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program
Application Deadline: October 15, 2004
Program Dates: September through May (9 months)
Number of Participants: 20
Citizenship : US Citizen
Age: 23-34 at time of application.
Language: German fluency required at start of program. If needed, language
training will be provided by the Bosch foundation in the US and Germany.
Education: Graduate degree or at graduate level training in business
administration, economics,journalism, mass communications, law, political
science, public affairs/public policy.
Work Experience: At least two years relevant work experience.
