New
America Foundation Fellowships
California
Fellowship Opportunities
The New America Foundation is a nonpartisan public policy institute
whose purpose is to bring exceptionally promising new voices and ideas
to the fore of Americas public discourse. Described by The New
York Times as breaking out of traditional liberal and conservative
categories and by Newsweek as a hive of state-of-the-art
policy entrepreneurship, New America relies on a venture capital
approach to invest in outstanding individuals and policy ideas. Through
its Fellowships and Policy Programs, the Foundation sponsors a wide
range of research, writing, conferences, and events on many of the most
important issues of our time. Thanks to a grant from the James Irvine
Foundation, New America is expanding its presence in California by appointing
several Fellows throughout the state. For more information about New
America, please visit www.newamerica.net.
