ANNOUNCEMENTS

Commencement
The College of SSIS Spring 2005 Commencement ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2005 at Hornet Stadium. All graduates should arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. Please go to the SSIS website to sign up.

Seminar
The Center for Collaborative Policy will host a seminar by Professor Lisa Bingham on March 17th at 1:30 PM till 3:30 PM at Napa Hall. Professor Bingham is the Director of the Indiana University Conflict Resolution Center and a nationally recognized expert in environmental dispute resolution. She will be discussing "The Law and Collaborative Governance: The Case of California". The seminar is open to all DPPA students and faculty. More information will be forthcoming.

Video Conference Session with Elizabeth Hill
Here's a chance to hear from one of the most respected people in state government: Liz Hill the Legislative Analyst. Note that this event is free but reservations are needed.

The Western Political Science Association Conference will be held at the Oakland Marriott. Dates of the meeting are March 17-19. Information regarding the conference is available on the WPSA website: http://www.csus.edu/org/wpsa

CSUS’s Betty Moulds and Elsa Favila are overseeing conference arrangements. A number of campus faculty will be participants.
