Graduate Student Employment and/or Thesis/Project Topics
Nancy Shulock, MPPA Professor and Executive Director for the Institute of Higher Education Leadership and Policy, received a $275,000 grant from the Hewlett Foundation for a project that aims to develop better finance policy for the state’s community colleges while simultaneously improving the policy capacity of state government (legislative and executive branches) to enact better policy for California higher education. Between this project and others that the Institute is undertaking, there may be possibilities for graduate student employment and/or thesis/project topics. Students with a strong interest in, and some background in, higher education policy should contact Nancy at nshulock@csus.edu.
