The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a national think tank in Washington, DC, is seeking to fill two research assistant/associate positions to work on budget and tax issues. They are looking for graduates with excellent quantitative and analytic skills and a strong background in economics, public finance, and/or public policy. For one of the positions -- the federal budget and tax slot -- they will consider candidates with a bachelor's or a master's degree; for the position that focuses on state issues, they are interested only in candidates with a master's degree.
