The opportunities in Assemblyman Cunneen's office are many. The captiol
office is fairly small staffed, allowing for a lot of responsibility for
those who come to help.
The intern in our office will definitely have a trmendous amount of political
and public policy experiences. The intern will be responsible for assisting
with every other aspect of the legislative process for teh life of all
the other bills; i.e. legislative counsel, assembly desk deadlines, committee
prep, sponsor coordination, etc. Also, the intern will help with other
preparations such as metting briefs and research.
General office chores of phones, faxing, copying, constitutent mail,
and errand running are shared by all and will be expected as well of the
intern.
Our office space is such that they can provide the intern with his/her
own desk space, as well as a computer and phone.
Again, due to the small staff in our Sacramento office, we really work
like a team. Sense of humor is mandatory!
