AUDITIONS APPLICATIONS

Due to enrollment reductions, we advise that you apply to Sac State for Fall 2010 as soon as possible. The priority filing period for Fall 2010 is October 1, 2009 - November 30, 2009. Apply at csumentor.edu.

Entrance Auditions will be held according to the following schedule. Please select your preferred audition date:

  • December 14-18, 2009: <=Click on this link for Fall 2010 Entrance. Each performance medium will audition on a specific day during the week. The specific date for your instrument or voice will be posted on December 1, 2009. Application Deadline: Monday, November 30, 2009.

  • January/February: <=Click on this link for final 2010/2011 merit based scholarship auditions, including February 6, 2009, Open House/Audition Day. Application Deadline: Monday, January 18, 2010.

  • May 17-21, 2010: <=Click on this link for Fall 2010 Entrance auditions.
    Each performance medium will audition on a specific day during the week. The specific date for your instrument or voice will be posted on May 3, 2010. Application Deadline: Monday, May 3, 2010.

RECORDED AUDITIONS

Good quality tapes, CDs or DVDs are strongly urged when distance is a factor. Recorded auditions will be heard according to the same schedule as live auditions as outlined above. Recorded auditions must include the recommended audition repertoire, and must be received one week prior to the Audition Application deadline. Recorded auditions must include four copies of the Audition Application.
