The CSUS Department of Music maintains an active and diverse Choral Program with
sold-out concerts, North American and European Tours, and broadcasts and recordings.
Auditions for the Chamber Choir, Concert and University Chorus are available to music
students, non-music students and community members, and should be arranged with Dr.
Kendrick asap. Membership in all choirs is by audition and is based on the singer's
individual vocal quality, range and timbre of the voice, and ability to read music.
Although prepared pieces are appreciated, they are not required. Candidates will be
asked to sing through the extremes of their vocal range and to sight read single line
melodies.
