New Millennium Series
Four concerts will be presented in the spring, featuring one of the one of the supreme chamber ensembles, the Tokyo String Quartet, performing on a matched set of Stradivari violins; the Grammy winning L.A. Guitar Quartet with members from the USC and UC Santa Barbara faculties; pianists Gil Kalish and Christina Dahl performing Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" for piano four-hands, and a host of Sac State's top faculty performers. read more
Piano Series
Featuring a the annual Piano Festival and solo recitals by Pascal Rogé on February 16 and Natsuki Fukasawa on April 26, this spring's Piano Series events will be sure not to disappoint. read more
World Music
Two concerts are currently on the books for the spring, featuring South Indian violinists Lalgudi Sri G.J.R. Krishnan and Lalgudi Smt. Vijayalakshmi on March 15 as part of the Festival of the Arts, and South Indian artists Sandeep Narayan & Mahesh Kale on May 3. read more
Choirs
The Sacramento State Choirs, under the direction of Dr. Donald Kendrick, will once again present two spring concerts featuring all three talented choirs, performing at the Sacred Heart Church. read more
Faculty Recitals
Several of Sac State's eminent faculty will be performing this spring, including pianist Richard Cionco, harpsichordist Lorna Peters, vocalists Robin Fisher and Michael Sokol, guitarist Greg Williams, hornist Pete Nowlen, trombonist Joel Elias, and flutist Laurel Zucker. read more
