Music Fee Cards

Enrollment in most music classes requires the purchase of a Music Fee Card ($40 per semester), which in essence is a "lab fee" the department uses to procure music supplies and materials, including music stands, audio/visual equipment, instruments, and many other items. Blue half-sheet forms are available in the literature rack of the main hallway near the department offices, as well as on the door to Room 135, and instructions are on the reverse.

The Department of Music at Sacramento State boasts over 225 music majors and a wide variety of performing ensembles - including a Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Marching Band, Orchestra, Opera, 2 Jazz Bands, 5 Jazz Combos, 3 Vocal Jazz Ensembles, 3 Choirs, a Baroque Ensemble, a Percussion Ensemble, and a host of other chamber ensembles for all instruments. Our facilities include a 338-seat Recital Hall and a 190-seat Concert Hall, plus more than 20 individual practice rooms, a percussion studio, a jazz studio, 2 piano labs, and a computer lab. And all of this set on a beautiful park-like 300 acre campus. Feel free to explore our programs using the links at the left, or email us for more information.
