Sacramento State president
to give spring address

California State University, Sacramento President Alexander Gonzalez will give his spring address to the campus community at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 20 in the University Union Ballroom. The doors will open at 9:30 a.m.

Gonzalez is expected to announce his decision on the University’s name, highlight the accomplishments of the previous semester and give an update on plans for the University’s future. The name choice takes into account surveys conducted both on and off campus, along with recommendations from a campus committee.

Streaming video and the text of Gonzalez’ talk will be available on the University’s website shortly after the event’s conclusion.
