Computer security tops upcoming seminar

Sacramento State’s College of Engineering and Computer Science will present a seminar featuring experts on hardware, software, Internet and network security issues from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15 in the University Union’s Foothill Suite.

The seminar, which is free and open to the public, will include experts from the government, private and military sectors. Colleen Pedroza, California’s information security officer, will welcome participants. Speakers and topics include:

Parking permits are available at the information kiosks at both campus entrances, and participants are asked to park in Lot 4, which is adjacent to the University Union.
