President Gonzalez to address campus Jan. 22

CSUS President Alexander Gonzalez will give a spring address to the campus community at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 22 in the Union Ballroom.

The doors will open at 9:30 a.m.

President Gonzalez is expected to discuss the state of the campus and the impact of Gov. Schwarzenegger’s budget proposal, the findings of the athletics task force, the proposed new campus master plan and community partnerships.

A streaming video telecast of the President’s address will be available on the campus website shortly after the event’s conclusion. In a preview, an interview with President Gonzalez will be featured on the 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 18 edition of the Capital Public Radio program “Insight” (88.9 FM). After the broadcast, an archived copy of the program will be posted on the program’s website at www.csus.edu/npr/Insight/insight.html.
