Sacramento State’s Piano Series enters its second movement of the season with a pair of spring concerts featuring Pascal Rogé and Natsuki Fukasawa. Rogé will perform on Sunday, Feb. 17 and Fukasawa will take the stage on Saturday, April 26. Both concerts are at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of Capistrano Hall.
“Rogé is one of the most poetic pianists performing today with a strong repertoire that includes just about everything,” says professor Richard Cionco, artistic director of the Piano Series. For his Sacramento appearance, Rogé will perform French piano music, for which he is renowned, Cionco says.
Fukasawa, a former visiting professor at the University, has performed throughout the Sacramento region and is a graduate of the Juilliard School and the Prague Academy of Music and a founding member of the Jalina Trio. She will perform a classic and romantic repertoire, Cionco says.
Tickets for Rogé’s performance are $25 general admission and $15 for students and seniors. Fukasawa’s concert tickets are $12 and $10. Tickets are available at the Sacramento State Ticket office, (916) 278-4323 or at www.tickets.com.
