Murray intends to pursue a master’s degree in economics and work in public policy development.

Sheila Bumgarner, a senior social work major, overcame personal difficulties and now works in the community as a volunteer with Safe-Quest, the outreach program at Solano County Jail and Solano County Youth and Family Services. Bumgarner plans to continue her education in the master’s of social work program.

Kristen Sweet, a second-year student in the master’s of social work program, has been dedicated to social work for several years, as a volunteer in a treatment center for two years for Americorps and as a Peace Corp volunteer in Ecuador for two years.
