An appearance at Sacramento State by UC Irvine philosophy and political science professor Kristen Monroe planned for noon, Monday, Feb. 11 has been postponed indefinitely. Monroe’s talk may be rescheduled at a later date.
Monroe’s groundbreaking research into what makes some people act more altruistically than others is the basis for her books The Heart of Altruism: Perceptions of a Common Humanity, and the Hand of Compassion: Portraits of Moral Choice during the Holocaust.
