Students find opportunities at
CSUS job fair 2002
More then 100 employers will open their
doors to students on Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
at the Career Fair at California State University, Sacramento.
Recruiters will offer volunteer, part-time and seasonal jobs
- including summer internships. The event takes place in the
University Union Ballroom.
"Employers have an increasing need for part time and
internship positions, which can potentially lead to full-time
employment," said Marilyn Albert, director of the CSUS
Career Center. "Part-time employment gives employers
an opportunity to look at an employee's performance before
making a full-time commitment."
A list of companies attending the CSUS Job Fair 2002 is available
at csus.edu/careercenter. It includes Internet links to each
employer.
The CSUS Career Center provides career exploration and counseling,
workshops, on-campus recruiting, student employment, internship
development and listings, career events and a career resource
library. Walk-in appointments are available for current CSUS
students Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Tuesday and
Wednesday evenings from 5 - 8 p.m.
