The mystery and science surrounding radiating black hole physics will be at the center of a presentation by Sacramento State’s Department of Astronomy and Physics from 4 – 5:20 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15 in Mendocino Hall 1015.
Professor Piero Nicolini from the University of Trieste, Italy will present his lecture, “Breaking News About Radiating Black Holes,” as part of Sacramento State’s Department of Physics and Astronomy Colloquium Series.
A new, exciting theory of treating the physics of black holes has been recently proposed and will be presented.
This discussion is free and open to the public, students and faculty. For more information contact the Sacramento State Department of Physics and Astronomy (916) 278-6518 or visit www.csus.edu/physics.
