Festival
features intimate concert with acclaimed Guarneri String Quartet
One
of the top string quartets in the world, the Guarneri String Quartet,
perform in California State University, Sacramento’s intimate
Music Recital Hall at 8 p.m., April 8 as part of the 11th annual
Festival of the Arts, April 3-12.
The Guarneri String Quartet is widely recognized throughout the

two other concerts remain – Ian Swensen (violin) and Gil Kalish
(piano) on March 16, and Richard Stoltzman (clarinet) and Lukas
Foss (composer/piano) on May 3.
Individual tickets for Guarneri and for the last concert in the
Millennium series are $25. Tickets to the March 16 concert are $15.
A subscription to the whole series is available for $60, and subscription
ticketholders will be invited to meet the Guarneri String Quartet
at a special post-concert reception.
