Conference looks at issues
affecting K-12 education

"Multiple Perspectives/Voices: Now More Than Ever" is the theme of the eighth annual Multicultural Education Conference at California State University, Sacramento. The free event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 2 in the University Union.

The conference will feature 50-minute concurrent sessions highlighting topics related to multicultural education, bilingualism, gender equity, social class, religion, "handicappism," sexual orientation, and other themes that impact K-12 students in California.

The conference is sponsored by the University's bilingual/multicultural education department.
