Seminar features Metro Chamber head

Matthew R. Mahood, new president and CEO of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, will be the featured speaker at the latest in a series of breakfast seminars at California State University, Sacramento.

The free event will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m., Tuesday, April 2 in the Steven Lee Yamshon Alumni Center. It is sponsored by the CSUS Alumni Association.

Mahood came to the chamber in January from Kaiser Foundation Hospitals where he was senior project manager for the Northern California pharmacy division. Previously he served as vice president and general manager for's Northern California operations, and held management positions at BAX Global and Federal Express.

The talk is open to the public, though seating is limited. Breakfast will be provided. To reserve a spot, call the Alumni Association at (916) 278-6295.
