Extreme
adventure comes to CSUS
Heart-thumping
thrills from the comfort of a theater seat await moviegoers at the
Adrenaline Film Festival, 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26 in the
California State University, Sacramento’s University Union
Ballroom.
Featured short films include:

Valhalla, kayaking from the waterfalls of Norway.

Dirt Divas, inside the world of women’s mountain
biking.
-
White Trax, a descent of Mt. Whistler on a unicycle.
-
Base Jump Baffin Island, base-jumping from the island’s
frozen fjords.
-
Aerated, kayak surfing and descents form Indonesia.
-
Four Play,
snowboarding from the backcountry of British Columbia.
-
San Francisco Cronicals, kite boarding from the San Francisco
Bay.
The film festival is hosted by the CSUS department of recreation
and leisure studies, which will also accept video submissions
from local adventure-sport filmmakers at the event. Proceeds from
the festival go to the department’s student scholarship
fund.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for students. Tickets
