Ken Jennings, the “Jeopardy!” contestant who was catapulted to fame after making game show history as its all-time champion, will come to Sacramento State to present his talk “Living Your Life as a Question.” The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on April 15 in the University Union Ballroom.

Jennings will discuss his experiences as a contestant and answer questions from the audience. There will also be a “Jeopardy!”-style competition pitting Jennings against the top member of the Sacramento State College Bowl team and a current or emeritus faculty member. The event is part of April’s Alumni Month activities.

Jennings appeared on the popular game show more than 70 times, answering 2,700 questions and earning a record $2.35 million during his unprecedented winning streak. “Jeopardy!” is currently broadcasting an “Ultimate Tournament of Champions” to determine which two players will compete against Jennings for the finals in May.

Tickets are $10 general, $7 for Alumni Association members and $5 for students and are available from the CSUS Ticket Office at (916) 278-4323 or Tickets.com. For more information, call (916) 278-6997. Media assistance is available by contacting the University’s public affairs office at (916) 278-6156.
