Game show champ challenges Sacramento

Ken Jennings, the “Jeopardy!” contestant who was
catapulted to fame after making game show history as its all-time champion,
will come to Sacramento State to present his talk “Living Your Life as
a Question.” The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on April 15 in the
University Union Ballroom.
Jennings will discuss his experiences as a contestant and answer questions from
the audience. There will also be a “Jeopardy!”-style competition
pitting Jennings against the top member of the Sacramento State College Bowl
team and a current or emeritus faculty member. The event is part of April’s
Alumni Month activities.
Jennings appeared on the popular game show more than 70 times, answering 2,700
questions and earning a record $2.35 million during his unprecedented winning
streak. “Jeopardy!” is currently broadcasting an “Ultimate
Tournament of Champions” to determine which two players will compete against
Jennings for the finals in May.
Tickets are $10 general, $7 for Alumni Association members and $5 for students
