Polish university president
to speak on education reform
Slawomir Owczarski, the CEO and president
of the University of Trade in Poland, will make a special
presentation on Polish higher education reform from 2-3 p.m.,
Thursday, March 21. The event will be in the University Union
Board Chambers.
Owezarski holds a doctorate in economic sciences, as well
as a degree in math. He is a specialist in risk management.
He has been honored with the Gold Cross of Merit by the president
of the Republic of Poland for his achievements in developing
higher education.
Owezarski is visiting campus as part of a president's exchange
program sponsored by the International Association of University
Presidents.
