Transfer
students deadline set for fall 2003
Because
of unprecedented demand for admission by upper division transfer
students, California State University, Sacramento has established
April 15 as the application deadline for the fall 2003 term.
As of March 1, 2003, the University had received nearly 50 percent
more applications than last year at this time. The University is
committed to providing a quality education and this deadline will
enable it to meet that commitment to the transfer class.
The University stopped accepting applications from lower division
transfer students on Jan. 6 and first-time freshmen, second bachelor’s
degree and unclassified graduate applicants on Feb.1.
Applicants who miss these deadlines are encouraged to apply for
the spring 2004 semester during the priority filing period of Aug.
1-31.
Applications for fall 2003 are still being considered for students
seeking admission to master’s degree programs and teacher
credential programs. These students are encouraged to apply as soon
as possible because the University filing deadlines are expected
to be earlier than last year.
