Heavenly CSUS Choirs Concert
The California State University, Sacramento
Men's Choir, Women's Choir and the University Chorus join
forces to present their angelic sounds concert, Sing Me to
Heaven, at 8 p.m., Saturday, May 19th, at St. Ignatius Church
located at 3235 Arden Way.
Conducted by CSUS music professor Donald Kendrick, the evening
will include choral works from Africa, Canada and America,
including James McCray's A Jubilant Song, Paul Basler's
Gloria and Daniel Gawthrop's Sing Me To Heaven. Cheryl
Eshoff will conduct the University Chorus and CSUS Chamber
Orchestra in stirring rendition of Johan Sebastian Bach's
Magnificat.
