Star-studded
event comes to campus
The stars will be out in broad daylight at California State University,
Sacramento from noon to 6 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m., Saturday, May 10.
The Sacramento Valley Astronomical Society (SVAS) will host Sacramento
Astronomy Day in the CSUS University Union Redwood Room and outside,
on the Library quad.
The free event will include portable planetarium displays, astrophotography
and telescope displays, interactive astronomical experiments, junior
astronomer club activities, computer software and astronomy program
demonstrations, SVAS scholarship applications and more. Nighttime
telescope viewings will be featured from 8-10 p.m.
