Campus to break ground for new bookstore

A groundbreaking ceremony for construction of Sacramento State's new Hornet Bookstore building will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 11 in front of the redwood grove adjacent to Parking Structure II on campus.

The new building will be located near the University Union and Serna Plaza on the west side of campus. The three-story, 93,000 square-foot building is expected to be completed in 2007. In addition to the University's bookstore, operated by the Follett Higher Education Group, the building will house University Enterprises administrative offices.
