Sacramento State still accepting
Fall 2005 applications
Students hoping to attend Sacramento State can still apply
for admission as undergraduates in Fall 2005, but time is running out.
Applicants should submit their materials as soon as possible. While applications
could be taken through the end of July, the application period will close as
soon as the University meets its fall enrollment target. For those who aren’t
able to apply for the fall, the priority filing period for Spring 2006 begins
Aug. 1.
Applications and related information are available at www.csumentor.edu.
Specific information about Sacramento State is also available at www.csus.edu/admr.
Sacramento State’s ambitious fall growth target – a 2.5 percent
increase in full-time equivalent students – would boost its fall enrollment
to more than 28,000. It would be the University’s first enrollment increase
in three years.
Applications are being accepted much longer this year than in the last few years
because of the prospects of improved state funding. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger
honored his compact with the 23-campus California State University system and
proposed a $212 million budget increase for the system. The final budget is
still being debated and must be approved by the State Legislature.
