Sacramento State again ranks among the top universities in the nation in awarding
degrees to Hispanic students according to a new report.
Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education's annual "Top 100" shows the University
ranked 39th in awarding bachelor's degrees and 66th in awarding master's degrees.
The list featured a strong showing for the California State University system
as a whole, with 18 campuses named to the list for bachelor's degrees awarded
and five campuses in the top 10-Fullerton (5th), Los Angeles (6th), Northridge
(7th), San Diego (9th) and Long Beach (10th). Twelve campuses ranked in the
top 100 for master's degrees including Los Angeles at 9th.
The degree numbers were provided by the National Center for Education Statistics.
