New athletic director to be introduced
at May 29 news conference
California
State University, Sacramento President Donald R. Gerth will
introduce the University's new athletic director at a news
conference 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 29 at the south end of
Hornet Stadium.
The new athletic director will make a brief statement, answer
questions and be available for media interviews.
Among those on hand will be outgoing athletic director Debby
Colberg, who held the position since February 1999. Colberg,
who continued to coach her highly successful volleyball team
while serving as athletic director, has decided to focus on
coaching.
Parking will be available in the small lot on the west side
of the stadium.
